HL Uriman is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Specialist to support the growth of our automotive aftermarket product portfolio.
As the exclusive North American distributor of HL Mando products, we are looking for an individual who is eager to develop expertise in automotive parts, product management, catalog data, and market analysis while supporting a growing aftermarket business.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn the automotive aftermarket industry while working closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.

Position Summary
The Product Specialist supports the Product Management team by maintaining product information, conducting market research, assisting with product launches, and supporting catalog management activities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career in the automotive aftermarket industry.
Key Responsibilities
Product Data & Catalog Support
- Maintain accurate product information, vehicle application data, and technical specifications.
- Support product catalog management activities.
- Assist with ACES and PIES data maintenance and validation.
- Coordinate product information updates across internal systems and customer platforms.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct research on automotive aftermarket trends, vehicle populations, and competitor products.
- Gather and analyze competitor pricing and product coverage information.
- Assist in preparing market intelligence reports and product recommendations.
Product Launch Support
- Assist Product Managers with new product introductions and product launch activities.
- Coordinate product setup, packaging information, images, and marketing materials.
- Support new SKU creation and product line expansion initiatives.
Sales & Customer Support
- Provide product information and technical support to internal sales teams.
- Assist in responding to customer inquiries regarding product applications and specifications.
- Support customer product presentations and training materials.
Inventory & Product Performance Analysis
- Monitor inventory levels and product performance reports.
- Assist with forecasting and inventory planning activities.
- Prepare reports on sales trends, product performance, and market opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Quality teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and product-related projects.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 0–3 years of experience in product management, automotive aftermarket, supply chain, sales support, catalog management, or related functions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred
- Internship or work experience in the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with automotive catalog standards such as ACES and PIES.
- Experience with ERP systems, catalog management platforms, or product databases.
- Bilingual English/Korean is a plus.
